overseas development institute
Project:
The Overseas Development Institute, based in London, had a new template design already created in Adobe InDesign. However, with users based in offices across the world, they needed a template that could be used by non-Adobe users.
This was a more advanced style of Word template, so apart from the usual application of brand guidelines (colour scheme, text and table styles), the following was also used in the template:
-
one- and two-column sections;
-
a layered front page (image underneath a partially-transparent graphic, with text on top);
-
table of contents;
-
table of figures
-
cross-referencing;
-
odd and even page headers and footers;
-
images with captions.
The video below shows how I created this template and used it for a report in French.
