Veridian wanted a simple, yet customized, Microsoft Word template that included their branding (e.g. logo, colours), and built-in template features like headings, multilevel bullet and numbered lists and custom table styles. 

Included in this was the design phase, which involved creating a very simple design of the template, using Veridian's requirements, and the macro writing phase.

The macro phase was comprehensive, in that it gave the template's users lots of flexibility in customising their documents. They could choose four different types of covers, pick an image they want and two of the covers allowed the addition of client logos.

Users could also choose between three different types of tables of content, 24 custom table styles and they could quickly insert and delete customised landscape section pages.
