This set of Microsoft Word macros adds a new tab with the following commands:
- Navigate: Move the cursor to the top or bottom of a document, or top or bottom of a page.
- Go To: Buttons that help you move to the next or previous charts, images or tables.
- Selection: Quickly select a whole page, a whole section or select a range of pages.
- Reposition: Reposition objects (images, autoshapes and charts) to align to margins or page edges.
- Resize: Resize images proportionately.
- Delete Empty Paragraphs: Deletes empty paragraph markers (caused by users repeatedly pressing the Enter/Return key on the keyboard) either throughout the whole document or within a text selection.
- Delete Multiple Spaces: Deletes ordinary space characters in groups of two or more (caused by users repeatedly pressing the Spacebar key on the keyboard) either throughout the whole document or within a text selection.
- Delete Tabs: Deletes multiple tab characters in groups of two or more (caused by users repeatedly pressing the Tab key on the keyboard) either throughout the whole document or within a text selection.
- Replace Tabs with Spaces: Replaces tab characters with spaces either throughout the whole document or within a text selection.
Table AutoFit for all tables: Applies the AutoFit Width, Contents and Fixed Column Width only to the table that the cursor is in.
The macros are contained within a macro-enabled Microsoft Word template and are licensed for use on a single Windows device. For use on multiple devices or to combine up to four sets of macros, please contact Natalie Lawrence (design@natalielawrence.co.uk).
The link will download a Zip file, which contains an executable file. This will install the macro-enabled MS Word template in your STARTUP folder.
Once installed, a tab will appear in Microsoft Word called "DTP Tools", which will contain the buttons that run the macros, with the exception of the Set 4 macros, which will appear in the Table Layout tab.
