ISSUE:
Blixen Tours is a travel company based in Denmark. They had three Word travel brochure templates that were already formatted the way they wanted.
The issue was that they wanted to insert images and captions at set sizes throughout their brochures. They also wanted to update information in fields more easily in the header and footer section, recolour the front page with their core colours and quickly export the brochure in to a PDF.
solution:
Macros/VBA code enables Microsoft Word users to simplify and speed up tasks.
Once I'd written the code to, for example, enable users to drop in images with captions at the size and position they wanted, I allocated each piece of code to a custom button. This makes accessing the code a lot easier.
