How to turn on the Developer tab (Microsoft Word for PC)

If need to do things like work with macros or re-attach your file to its master template, you'll need to turn on the Developer tab. The video below shows how to do this:


You can also follow the written instructions below:

  • In Microsoft Word, go to the File menu, then click on Options.

  • On the left, click on "Customize Ribbon" (fourth from bottom on the left).

  • In the pane on the right, scroll down until you can see the word "Developer" (it'll probably be under "View").

  • Tick the box on the left of it, then press the OK button.
